Dakmor was a swamp waaay back in the Portal setting. It was home of the nightstalkers which made use of some "MtG technology" (Nightstalker Engine)esque things) which I suppose accounts for the Mirrodin like look. As far as I remember it was just a normal swamp...whatever, looks great!

Works nicely with retrace cards. Also keep in mind that repeatedly dredging will likely be dumping lands in your graveyard for Worm Harvest.

The Nightstalkers cared about the graveyard. So Dakmor is a place where Grave Shenanigans are allowed to take place. Actually one of the better Dredge cards, because it tempts you -AWAY- from Manaless Ichorid, while allowing an almost-manaless strategy to be more feasibly budgetable. (play it just cuz it has the Dredge word on it)

I'll admit...I really think they should have given this print a Golgari watermark.

But it's actually Dakmor.
Whatever that means.
