This has combo potentials way more than Twiddle and still it's rated lower. Why? Because it's from Homelands which should have only crappy cards?

I like how this card was a clear inspiration for cards like Chain of Vapor in Onslaught.

Too bad the propagation cost is so high.
Otherwise quite decent card.

It's interesting that when it was printed you could not use this card in the way kitsunewarlock describes. Back then there was no stack and interrupts where the rule. Check out the Homelands FAQ to see what I mean.

The best "combo" card in Homelands. With 4 mana and a Krosan Restorer or Argothian Elder with one or two or more land that tap to produce more than 1 mana each (like the dual land in Ravnica), you can go infinite pretty easily. The best part of the deck is the fact its a two-card combo...and the individual cards themselves are pretty viable (well, not horrible at least) for ramping. You can also use Animate Land on Tolarian Academy with 4 artifacts in play to get infinite mana with this card.

Mr_Hendry, I think you could use it that way. Yes, that was the age of interrupts, but on the other hand, most mana producers (or land untappers) included the text "play this ability as an interrupt".

Amusing if used properly, and an obvious tribute to Chain Lightning.
