Is that...Is that Courage Wolf?

I'm considering putting this in my deck, but the only person I ever play against uses Wurms with a lot of trample.

I love him so much I have named him Charlie... I bet that joke make your eyes hurt

@Shabroky: He only stops 1 damage. The creature with trample only does enough damage to Beloved Chaplain that would be necessary to kill him if he didn't have protection (if he isn't buffed in any way, that would be 1 damage) and the rest goes to you due to trample.

Rune with Concerted Effort - all of your creatures get protection from creatures.

He's a two mana 1/1 packing one of the best abilites every printed. Whats not to love?

@NARFNra: To do what exactly? The Caretaker cant target the Chaplin since the caretaker is a creature.

Why does white have an unblockable creature? 10 points from Gryffindor

I use him in my cleric deck, but he'd do fine in every deck with plains!

One of my favorite cards to play with Concerted Effort.

I wish I had known about this card earlier... so good!

Cleric isn't the worst creature type.
1/1 isn't great, but protection from creatures is insanely relevant for both offense (ie. unblockable; equip/enchant it up and go to town) and defense (ie. non-trampling creatures cry)

I was in the process of drawing up a Concerted Effort deck when I discovered this guy, but now I'm quite tempted to do something with clerics, seeing as I have a 2 mana super-wall to hold down the fort while I get the rest of my creatures out. ^^

Use with a Devoted Caretaker.

Oh. Right. Damn.
I guess that means you'll want anything that gives shroud. Like Whispersilk Cloak.
