I love this card. Years ago I would break it out in casual formats to make people laugh but it actually had one of the best combos available:

Zombie Infestation: Discard 2 cards to create a zombie army. Then Confessor gives you 2 life and Nefarious Lich thus draws you 2 more cards - you don't need to have an ulimited army but it would probably make your opponent concede unless he can destroy the Lich on the next turn.

Cards that enhance the combo:
Anger Stick a mountain in your deck and play it for one purpose only - haste with anger. You only need 1 mountain and 1 anger and if the mountain is not in play you can simply wait to play a land until after you fish it up using the combo.
Legacy Weapon This makes the combo infinite to make people cede without having to declare attackers!

Solitary Confinement, Leyline of Sanctity or Spirit of the Hearth, multiple Greater Auramancys to protect the Lich, and plenty of ways to gain life.

That will break this card. If not break it, at least make it playable and give you one HELL of a draw engine. It's not Necropotence, but it's still decent. Just needs support.

And then you Donate it once you have your win condition.

On 5th turn, I played Nefarious Lich using Dark Ritual and then Donate. On 6h turn, I destroyed Nefarious Lich and won the game.

FugimSky, i'll try to solve your problem.
Consider donating this card to your opponent ;)

Yet you'll unfortunately still need some further help.
Ensure to empty his/her graveyard if needed, do so by using Tormod's Crypt, Relic of Progenitus, the weaker version Scrabbling Claws, or the even weaker version Phyrexian Furnace. But overall, at least the first two "duplicates" are still very useful for emtying the graveyard.
Jund Charm and Haunting Echoes, although those are less adviseable for the sole purpose of removing the graveyard.

Well, then you'll still need your opponent to take some further tiny damage from anywhere, and then game is yours.

Oh, and Immortal Coil triggers losing the game in the same way, so you might want to use that one as well when playing a Donate deck like this.

It's usable if you're running a Black/White deck and have Elspeth, Knight-Errant and get off her ultimate ability making all your stuff indestructable. So, as long as your opponent doesn't bust out a remove target permanent/enchantment from the game card you won't have to worry about Nefarious Lich being destroyed, and you probably won't be taking any damage from creatures since your guys can chump block all day without dying (unless they have trample or something), so you won't need to have a huge graveyard.

But yeah, this card is very difficult to use without screwing yourself over under normal circumstances and it's cons outweigh the pros in my opinion. I'll give it a 2/5 though I think.

im guessing that when wizards was trying to make this card, they were trying to achieve a card that was a mix of lich and neccropotence, but i think that ended up as a failure. to this day i still cant find a combo to make me want to play this card.

I remember once seeing a deck that used this in the casual decks room on MtG:O, comboed with Words of Worship. The main problem is that this required four black to play, so it's difficult to use in a multicolored deck, except maybe less now with the Filter Lands from Shadowmoor/Eventide.

But especially now, you can only really play this is casual.

i think that if you donate it, and lets say they disenchant it... you still lose. I could be wrong on that, but for some reason I get the feeling that is what would happen.

Risk aside, this card provides an awesome drawing engine. Abuse it with drain life! However, there better be a good reason to draw cards-- like a cadaverous bloom !!

I think is one of those cards you either love or hate XD. I think it will work well in a Black/White deck.
