WUV MUFFIN!
Not a bad card per se, but clearly pales next to Wild Mongrel. However Wuv Muffin is probably next best of the cycle which also contained Filthy Cur, Phantom Whelp and Mad Dog.

@vosrevesrevers:
Because Green and White get Bears. The other 3 colors don't get 2/2 vanillas for 2, so their Hounds in this cycle have to either have drawbacks, or be something other then a 2/2 for 2.

Wh... Who is responsible for that flavour text?
We must put a stop to them.

Oh chippy, you and your flavor text. You would probably be on the other side of the galaxy right now if it wasn't for your amazing artwork.

i don't understand the balance of the cards in this hound cycle. why do green and white get 2/2 creatures for 2 with often amazing abilities (wild mongrel) and the other colors have absolutely awful drawbacks? (phantom whelp is possibly one of the worst blue creatures ever)

By definition, Storm Crow trumps this.

Not a bad card in Limited; I mean, Wild Mongrel he ain't, but he's a bear who can put stuff into your graveyard and keeps things his own size from getting to feisty. 3/5

Everybody seems to either love or hate the flavor text. Frankly, it never really struck me either way.
