I agree, bhunji. It seems they've reworded a lot of cards as "target creature gains 'ability text'," even when it's not necessary or supported by the card text.

that's a mighty convoluted rules text for what should be a pretty simple idea..

There are so many creatures that has tap ability that you might want to use twice per turn. This does it and so does Instill Energy. Of course there are also other cards, but these two cost only Green to cast and then work for free.

I run this in my EDH aura deck to toss on Mesa Enchantress or Hanna, Ship's Navigator. It gives my white enchantresses something to do besides sit around. With Overgrowth you can get some extra mana on your turn and after. Not really amazing on it's own, but still a decent support card in the right circumstances.

There is nothing on the card that states that it can tap your opponents creatures. The card allows you to untap the enchanted creature, which you must control, one time. You can also UNTAP target artifact, creature, or land, but the enchanted creature has to be white in order for you to use the second ability.

All in all, its a very limited card that's only on-par with instill energy if youre playing g/w. Even then, instill energy isnt all that great so that aint saying much. 2/5

Better than Instill Energy.

I don't think the oracle is right, I think it should be Nature's Chosen that taps or untaps the creature, similar to how krovikan plague deals the damage...

So my elf taps to pay for this enchantment and then he untaps and taps one of your creatures. Alternatively put it on something with a very scary tap effect like Visara the Dreadful or Royal Assassin.

Pretty insane card, makes your enchanted creature able to tap two creatures (one on your turn, one on theirs). A staple in Rebecca Guay-themed decks.

Instill energy lets the creature attack as though it has haste. I prefer it to this as it is more flexible.

While this *can* be better than instill energy; imagine this vs. that in a ramp deck. Instill Energy works on both mana-dorks (extra untap for more mana) and on fat (haste.) Being able to get that out of a single card is pretty nice.

This is better for GW where you want something to get some kind of vigilance, or you have flash available (as you'll untap up to two lands) and that sort of thing. I don't think it's fair to say one is better than the other since they meet such different needs.
