This card has a lot of green flavor.

Unfortunately it's not that useful.
It should have been able to disable nonflying creatures as well, imho.

This card would be acceptable if the targeted creature wouldn't have to be blocked first. A little bit like Plummet.

Wasn't even useful back when serra angel ruled the skies. I'd rather just cast plummet for one less mana.

Pair with a card where you benefit from having an opponent's creature locked, and its golden. Its effect is beautiful, and reminds me of Seasinger.

It's okay, good flavor but seriously outclassed nowadays. I'd run it in a cube, but not in any real deck.
