I don't really like this in a control deck because a smart player will see if you tap out to tap his creatures. If you do you don't have a counterspell and can't bluff, and if you don't tap them you are obviously holding on to something and he should just use what wasn't tapped to smash your face in. A savvy opponent turns this into a lose-lose situation. I suppose that when you don't have to tap out it would be better, but that isn't the most efficient, even if blue is the color of instants.

This is a solid card you can use to tap multiple creatures an opponent controls. He can get through himself or let your other creatures get through. The fact that you don't need to tap him to use his ability is what is awsome. This also allows you to bluff with cards in your hand and keep your opponent guessing. I love this card.
