I'd rather play Black Vise, for the synergy with symmetric draw effects. Also, it's way cheaper.

With regards to black vise, this card has the advantage of not targeting, and affecting all of your opponents.
The vise can do only one damage at 5 cards, while this does two damage at 5 cards.
Also, the vise is one of the most broken artifacts of all time. Any card with a similar function must have a more reasonable cost like this.

If you go this route, you might as well go all in with Ebony Owl Netsuke.
Personally, I think this should have something to do with Fatesealing because of the name. "No topdeck bolts for you this game!"
