One of the very few spells in the game which belonged to the short-lived Mana Source class.
IIRC, back then, this could not be countered! It was "faster than interrupts", today one would say it did not use the stack.

5/5 with 41 votes thats crazy, this is one of the few cards with a perfect rating even the moxes and black lotus don't have a 5/5 rating.

It's because some people think moxen & lotus broken and give broken cards 0,5/5. As you can see this has come down. Only 4,913 with 69 votes.

Wow. 33 votes and a 5.0. That's pretty crazy. But to be honest, why is this rated better than black lotus. I love it, and it is an AMAZING enabler (I once saw 3x dark ritual, phage on turn 1. against 5cc control. Their response? Um, vivid, go. It was epic). I just think it should be a 4.7 or something super high, with this many votes.

mirage kicked ass. i love the original artwork, but this artwork is awesome as well. i get a kick out of how it has 'mana source' printed directly on the card.
