@sweetestsadist: you got me curious... there are a lot of bits of flavor text about creatures eating or people being eaten by them, but how many about eating the creature described?
So far, I've found Azimaet Drake, Brindle Boar, Bubbling Beebles (see also: Sauté), Coral Eel, Granite Gargoyle (also referenced on Lightning Axe), Horseshoe Crab, Jwari Scuttler, Kraken Hatchling, Protean Hulk, Ravenous Rats, Sprouting Thrinax, the fruit of the Utopia Tree, Wall of Kelp, Squee's lament that Firefly, like most bugs he found on Rath, are inedible, and a warning that eating your Snow Hound is shor... (see all)

@longwinded
Don't forget Bottle Gnomes. Drinking instead of eating, but close enough.

I like it when the flavor text talks about eating the creature on the card. There's just something about having creature's you can cook that tickles me. I want to try eating one of these one day.

wow its like blue go firebreathing then r&d thought that was overpowered so then then basically give you a 2/3 for 3 with an upkeep of 2 good job r&d you saved us from an incipient blue aggro deck
