I love these D&D-based cards. Another, more obscure reference to that tabletop game is Living Wall.

If there was a "fun factor" list of MTG cards, this surely would be there. Even the ilustration is fun.

Play man lands and one of those game ending creatures for fun times. Dark Ritual eats the 3 colorless pretty fast, tapping a Mishra's factory to animate it's self is also a time saver.

In a deck where the only creature cards are the eldrazi legends, this can be quite silly alongside stuff like khalni garden or any of the spawn token stuff.

"Okay, on my fourth turn I tap out- now remember that silly 0/1 plant token I got from khalni garden? remember how you dismissed it as a chump blocker? Yeah, I'm going to polymorph it. Intooooooo... let's see here... landlandinstantsorceryinstantlandinstantenchantmentsorcery- Ah! Here we are! Emrakul! I assume you're going to scoop?"

This is the best printing of polymorph because it has the weird rabbit butt in the art. The newer ones splice it out!

Also, flavor text.

Oh my, what is that hidden body part in the image made from the shoulder, body and back side? Gasp!! It's polymorphing into a....

This is truly a rare that inspires you to think up crazy ideas about how to use it. Incidentally these are my favorite kinds of cards. Running a deck with just a few powerful creatures? This can turn your Faerie Conclave into Emrakul, the Aeons Torn. Is it risky removal? Maybe you can stack the deck with Excommunicate first. It's a cool concept and extremely fun to play, especially when you have no idea what you're going to get!

Hidden rules text '{3}{U}; Target token becomes Iona. GG?'

this is a fun card until Dr. Douche decides to make a Polymorph Iona deck :/
