Splashable Tims are good if you're doing the obvious R/U deck...
Also, Tim has power if someone's rocking Detainment Spell (?).

how can this be rated significantly less than Prodigal Sorceror?
Do that many people really just 'splash' blue to add Tims?
If you have lots of blue mana sources, the Firewalker is strictly better than Tim.

the main reason i like this guy is because other pingers cant take him out. If bowth players are rocking pingers who ever gets one out first usually gets to keep his, and sense most new pingers are red, pro red on a pinger really helps keep him out.
