Same mana cost Avatar of Might, but a lot worse.

The improvement of green's large creatures has hit the Crash bad, but it's still an 8 power trampler for 8 mana. If it was brought back in a color that tends not to get as good tramplers as green (ie: any other color), it would be considered great.

But "crash" is the collective noun for rhinos! It's a crash of rhinos, same as a parliament of owls, or a murder of crows, or a pod of whales...

To me the name 'Crash of Rhinos' doesn't sound as a name of a permanent. I've seen this card when it was new, but now that I look it again after many years, I think it shoulkd have been a sorcery or an instant with that name.
'Crash' is not a collective noun like 'herd' or 'flock'. It's more like a name for something that happened. Try to think about the difference between 'an explosion of fish' and 'a school of fish'.

@tavaritz
I get what you're saying, but 'Explosion of Fish' would be an awesome name for a card.
