You could never format this to work with kicker. Kicker is an additional cost. Which means you can't pay it unless you're casting the spell. Which means you can't kick it unless you could cast it at sorcery speed anyway.

If the total power of the creatures in the graveyard is higher than Jarad's, it might be a good idea to swap that power around. Besides, you can swing with Jarad, then cast this as an instant when your opponent attacks so you have blockers. Then sac them again! (or swing with them, since they won't have summoning sickness anymore).

For a good time, construct a multiplayer deck with this, Shared Trauma, and Chill of Foreboding. Then watch as the glorious chaos unfolds. (Or you could be SENSIBLE and Traumatize yourself prior to casting this...I GUESS...)

I think it's awkward how close this is to kicker, especially since this is from the block that introduced the kicker mechanic.

Kicker 2: Twilight's Call gains flash.

But anyway, um....yes/no 1st commentor. Golgari wants to Do Shenanigans Things In General with its graveyard. Making creatures that are huge when lots of things are dead is one way. Counting up all those dead guys and deciding they'd be great to Zombie Apocalypse somebody with is another. In theory, you play Boneyard Wurm early and it gets better as you load up on a graveyard, and then you play this and Bone Wurm dies but so does your opponent because you have nothing in your graveyard and it's Thriller on the battlefield....

Plus, this card shouldn't be Oracled into Kicker because there are cards that interact with kicker cards that didn't and shouldn't interact with this.

Doesn't the golgari deck want creatures in the graveyard to pump Jarad and Boneyard Wurm, though?
