Zombie charm? It does give you the option to surprise-block black and/or artifact creatures.

This one's out of left field. But frankly, I'm surprised it hadn't been reprinted before this, the effect is quite reasonable for the cost when you consider the flexibility it offers.

@TheWrathofShane
A 2/2 with flash might cost 2 in green (Ashcoat Bear), but thats because its the most efficient creature color. Black has to spend more on it than that. (See Offalsnout or Drudge Reavers for examples of flashy black creatures). Terror costs 2, yes, but add the option for a 2/2? Easily 4 mana, in black.
All in all, this is a decent card that gives you options when you need them.

Now that's an oldie we haven't seen in a while. Nice to have it back.

Cool to see when VERY old cards can turn out to be way better than you thought just because the art becomes appropriate :3

Why was this not printed in the Zombie Empire Planechase deck?

Rather a weak card.
2/2 flash should cost 2.
terror should cost 2.
Option to do either one, 3 at most. 4 is overpaying.
