Though, I agree that this effect is better on red, I still love this card.

It has been reprinted a lot in special decks lately but the chances of it coming out in a set is just really low.

This card has gotten me out of MANY sticky situations, and when I have gathered enough of them in my starting hand, I have gotten out Avatar of Woe on turn 1.

My best turn one with black ritual is: swamp, dark ritual, dark ritual, black vise, black vise, black vise, and black vise. My opponent took 12 damage on his first upkeep the scooped.
