...and requires you to sacrifice it, so you can only use it once, plus despite that fact it's no cantrip or slowtrip. it looks interesting, but really needs a buff if this is going to be remade.

Best use for it is in a deck designed to abuse Salvaging Station. Assuming both creatures die, that's two untaps, allowing you to get back this card and, say, Sol Ring, so you can pay for it again.

little known fact for history buffs, both Alexander the great and Kull the conqueror used triangles of war in their campaigns.
also this card is terrible compared to the "Tambourine of Conflict"

I rated 3.
You can get rid of shrouded creatures this way, with no dependency on color. It allows mono green decks to get rid of something annoying. Or mono red decks (without burning everything to ash, your creatures included).
At 3 mana total, thats not completely useless.
