What a versatile card.
Pump/removal, evasion and discard on and instant.
Beautiful, really.
On an isochron scepter, the second cruellest lock I've seen.
(Above time stretch on a panoptic mirror, below gulf squid on a soul foundary).

for one mana, this sure is really worth it..
i wonder if its good enough to be put maindeck in today's legacy meta.
surely it can kill a lotta significant creatures like dark dark confidant, snapcaster mage, mana elves, etc..
but is it worth it?

If your opponent is in topdeck mode and the board is fairly empty, this can be a 1 mana time walk, just cast it directly after their draw.

Instant speed discard, weenie kill, pump, and an occasional unblockable Nantuko Shade swing. All in one card that's one mana to cast.

A really solid card. Also, it's one of the few instant discard spells, with which you can have your opponent discard a card after drawing, before the main phase.

I love options. At worse its a bad one for one when you make them discard a card. Instant speed means that you'll almost always find a time when your opponent is holding at least one card, as long as that card isn't an instant.
