My #1 Favorite Magic card.
You may ask why i choose an old common instant as my favorite card, so i'll tell you why.

-1 mana
-Green is my favorite color
-Destroy enchantment (Like Oblivion ring, Humility, ect)
-Surprise blocker
-Surprise 'Lose flying and die' to my big greenies on the ground
-use tap abilities of creatures again (Ulvenwald Tracker, archivist, Royal Assassin)

And that's what I'm all about. lil tricks. I like a deck that's different every time i play it.

I thought this card sucked, but I was wrong. There's always something to do with it!

You'll at least find a use for the first ability all the time, and the other ones can come handy...

This a great one drop card because it gives you so many options and anti-enchantment for 1 mana in itself makes this card atleast worth having in your sidedeck.

Not to mention that untapping anything which produces a lot of mana when tapped quickly breaks this.

A staple for sideboard in old standards, Emerald Charm was able to destroy dangerous enchantments for one easily splashable green mana.

This was considered more powerful in its day because Green didn't yet have Naturalize, making this the only way to deal with enchantments via green without going up to Creeping Mold or Desert Twister.

But it's still a good card in any case, just for the versatility.

Destroy Stasis for 1 mana? That all by itself gets this a sideboard slot. The first ability is great, and with green having few large flyers the third ability could prove key to dealing with a flying threat.
