As part of my mission to give cool cards fitting flavor text:
Boros forges provide excellent fuel for guildless elementalists. Boros soldiers provide excellent fuel for guildless elementals.

The gruul say its from the old gods, the boros used it for their forge, the golgari fear for their burning resources, the simic tampered with it, the selesnya can't protect the forests from it, azorious can't control it for long, orzhov can't afford the damages. It was an izzet experiment, that the Dimir let loose to distract rakdos with chaos.

I think it's cute.

@lorendorky: Frontline Medic's ability only counters spells and not creature abilities. The Cinder's ability is unaffected.

actually it doesn't get hoes by frontline medic. It's not a spell when it's using that ability.

If you see this in draft, pick it. This is very good in limited.
I kinda wish it more of a face.

I'm not sure if this is a good card, but it is unique, and the art looks awesome.

I'm honestly curious to hear the story of why this made it into GTC. I don't feel strongly about the card one way or another but I don't see any blatant synergies or anything. If anything it gets hosed by Frontline Medic.
