I think people are underrating this card, stick it on a flyer and it essentially becomes unblockable. I think it has some potential!

Flyers holding this can still get stopped cold by Reach, but... Treetop Scout can't.

@Foodmasta31: You're forgetting about creatures with reach, though. And I think that at least in green, those are reasonably profuse...

I love all the flying hate. Birds need to drop from the sky! Mwa ha ha. Oh, and evasion is nice.

This could definitely be some nice utility for Dimir by turning their flyiers into essential unblockable creatures. Hilarious against a player with Akroma's Memorial.

This card is unique. The last card that could provide this was Dust Corona from Planar Chaos and some old creatures, 1 from old Ravnica block.
Never on an Artifact-Equipment.

@MisterAction
Bats are not blind and most don't even have bad eyesight. They just use echo-location for when it's dark.

This looks like holdout art from Avacyn Restored. Use this on Spire Tracer in draft.

I like this card. I'm putting it in my Gisela EDH deck. Equip it to her for a nearly unblockable 10 damage. And then give her double strike...

Someone already brought up Dust Corona, it is a good example of why this card is bad. Three extra mana to be an artifact minus one power kind of sucks. The Multiverse article they just put out makes this even more disappointing. It just missed protection from flyers, which would at least make it interesting and fun way to hate on your friend's casual favorable winds deck.
