I think this card works well with undying creatures, especially Flayer of the Hatebound. This will be a fun card to play around with.

Love this guy. He's not a 4-of or even a 3-of but 1-2 in a deck can take out just what you need. Boros is really really strong right now and he can thin their ranks down. It turns a Worldspine Wurm into a boardwipe.
At the very least you can get him to go 1 card for 1 card and maybe more.

@Legoman4000 You choose the order in which the ETB effects resolve, so yes. You may activate soulbound after fighting (you can also resolve the trigger to do nothing in both cases), which can be relevant if you want to Mark for death something so you can kill them with a trampler. You can't use Wolfir Silverheart to trigger things like evolve though.
