I'd say they're both amazing.
They give the viewer two very different feelings, i'll give you that.
The original one looks more true to his name than the new one - but that sacred feeling with those seemingly golden pillars also gives it an overly idealistic impression, as if there were some dubious sacrificial rites that you'd expect from Rakdos.
The giant anvil on this artwork looks both firm and timeless, while the lava streams add constant movement and action. The bright sky floods the scene with warm light and gives it a more righteous tone. Overall it feels more like Boros.
Does anyone agree with me on that.

I don't usually try to hate on the artwork of cards, I figure any art on a Magic card is far better than anything I can do. But I really do prefer this art to the original Sacred Foundry, it just captures the feel of Boros better.

The light will give the signal to get out of guild grounds and commence the attack.
I imagine Aurelia, the Warleader to stand there any moment to issue the commands to her army.
