Solid red twice off beat-stick. Unearth pretty much makes up for the fact that you're paying an extra a pop when compared to the classic Spark Elemental.
Would have been nice to see some new art though, I much prefer the promo to this.

Besides, the creature in the promo art looks bigger than 3/1.

super OP in the deck, it gives you a turn 2 play other then cast tibalt , once i was at a vintage turnament VS red counterspell control and turn 2 he played mountain simian spirit guide, manamorph, splash, then thoughtseize. now thats how he knew i had a tibalt in hand, then he played 5 moxens and played mealstrom archangel. at that point it was my turn now i went first so i went mountain, then i played this guy. the vintage player nearly wet himself, he had never seen a player go turn 2 NOT tibalt. the important thing here is simple though, he placed a 10000000000 dollar wager that he would win, so now i have a icosago core ANDROID PHONE.
icosago means 20 btw.

This little guy looks awesome and works perfectly in my burn deck. Slap a couple Brute Forces on him or an Assault Strobe and watch him go to work.

For the same reason as flickering; you can keep an unearth creature via the champion mechanic, I.E. Nova Chaser in an elemental deck! Unearth him; Soulstoke a Nova, get a 3/1 blocker next turn; then he's ready to unearth again!
