Why is this common? WHY HAS THIS ALWAYS BEEN COMMON?!
This outright kills all creatures in the game except for 159, not including those who can give themselves protective abilities to dodge this. That's pretty insane for a common.

the opposite of Tibalt-Flavor -_- he likes to make the pain last, not just kill outright. :P
way to make people buy products for singles instead of Flavor, Wizards. :P Kinda much
I wonder how many Spikes who cast Terminates with this set symbol will ever even know or care who Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded was because he's so damn bad xD

I remember getting my final fourth copy of this for my deck as my happiest moment in MTG.
Deserves no less than a 5/5

Anything without hexproof, shroud, indestructible, protection from red/black, or means of self bouncing is going to be blown up by this 2 mana common instant.

My best friend and rival thought he was pretty clever when he shelled out all his money for playsets of Lotleth Troll, Varolz, the Scar-Striped, and Death's Shadow. He decided to test out his combo against my new red/black budget exalted deck.
Friend: "Ahaha, turn 5, and I have a 15/14 trampler with regenerate. And now I'll put an Alpha Authority on him to make him hexproof. What do you have to say to that?"
Me: "In response to Alpha Authority...I terminate it."
Friend: "Big deal I'll just regen it-"
Me: "Read the card Sean."
Friend: (reads card) "...no...NO!...AAAAAHHHHHH!" (flips table)
