I have to agree with Continue on this one, Would've made more sense to target a player as well as a creature but then you are really getting best bang for your buck. 
Deals 2 damage to target creature or player and you gain 2 life. Um yeah I am pretty sure that card wouldn't be a common anymore. Also this is still playable to kill creatures and swing you back with 2 life. Perfectly reasonable for 2 mana. The card just seems like Sorin's first ability so much but without targeting a player it misses the mark. Being able to hit other Planeswalkers was what made Sorin's 1st ability so good.

Obvious choice for a reprint. It's decent, but the lack of player targeting hinders it a lot.

This card is actually very strong verse aggro type decks. Usually always a few targets to snipe early game and gives you a bit more health.
