This is like a really ghetto Gnaw to the Bone stapled to a reanimator hoser.

This is so going to be my sideboard for my wights in my mill deck against reanimator or scavenge decks. oh i can't scale off your creatures? well then you can't use them either.

In limited, targeting yourself with this as a combat trick against Wight of Precinct Six would be really funny.

@SyntheticDreamer This is WAY too slow against legacy dredge.

ultimately worse than all repeatable graveyard hosers, despite the lifegain.

This is like godsend - especially against what I can foresee of the 2014 core set for black:
here is the card in question that raised alarm bells:
Cost: 2 Swamp
Rise of the Dark Realm
Type: Sorcery
Put all creature cards from all graveyards onto the battlefield under your control.
it costs a lot, but if this is the direction the new sets are going, mass removal will no longer be adequate.
