Probably better than into the roil. Doesn't have the cantrip option, but the double effect can be useful, especially against token decks. Definitely better than disperse (though not strictly, as you don't get a choice about the "same name" part).

Strange art. Actually could probably have used 'airy' Fairy art to good effect. Still has "Kamino" looking Mirrodin + Water art. Strange.
Other cards got New Art that needed it more, though.

Actually, Eyeball Frog, this says nonland permanent. An animated manland is still a land. It's a no-go.

Still an awesome card, though. I feel like it should see more play in Modern. There's a lot of problematic nonland permanents out there.
