Well, the point is that you get both of those cards with one card. Obviously clunky, but a very reasonable 23rd card or sideboard pick against lots of fliers.

I think I just realized Evoke is based off of Echo cards like these. Or at least they're very similar- Echo gives you a chump blocker for one turn.
