Yes it's a real crappy card that most people have as a placeholder in their fugus decks till they get something better, but it was also butt ugly and boring looking. At least this new version has something nice to look at.

It's always nice to see that they haven't forgotten about the Thallids; but honestly, I would rather have seen new art for Psychotrope Thallid than this.

Much prefer the old art. Usually a nice way to cause a Might of the Masses kind of pump on your unblocked attacker.
Considering how many saps you can start making if your deck gets out of hand, this guy can be just the guy you need. Consider, however, Pallid Mycoderm instead. The universal untargetted pump is quite a huge boost.
