They gave us a good couple of Arcanes, so the splice cost could actually find use in limited.

I always thought the art managed to make you feel that, flavor-wise, the splice cost are fitting.

Generally speaking, it's just a bad burn spell, though...and one of many underwhelming Arcanes.
