I'm really excited for this card. I miss when black had the ability to "curse" artifacts and make their controller suffer, and at one mana, this is amazing! This will be a perfect way to hose equipments that give shroud like whispersilk cloak or lightning greaves. Mwhahaha.

Ah, well, close enough, I guess. Enchanting an equipment with this means a lot of the time it won't be equipped.

Most of this time this will serve a one mana edict effect as long as the equipment is equipped to something. Your opponent gets one turn to equip it to their worst creature and in most cases won't have a way to get rid of it. The artifact will still have some value, but will be essentially shut down.
Very underrated.
