Subtle throwback to Gauntlet of Might. Red likes its fists.

Fits the mana curve so you can follow up next turn with this after you drop Chandra, Pyromaster Turns her plus ability into deal 3 damage to a creature and player. Looks fun.

I like it being able to curve right out of a Chandra, Pyromaster and Chandra's Phoenix

@Mode Get creative. I'm sure there's some limb that you can strap this to. Although seeing it shoot flames may be rather traumatizing in certain cases. ;)

@Hadady: Nope. Not even remotely. Don't know how you're getting that. "That much damage plus 2" is pretty clear. It deals the damage it would deal, plus 2 additional damage. 2 Gauntlets would deal 4 additional damage, as both abilities trigger independently, then stack on top of each other, adding 2 damage.

Oh, if only it were red noncreature source. Pyrohemia would be fun.

Gee, I wonder what card this was meant to be run with? Pretty useful in burn-heavy decks.

It would have required a ton of design space, but I wish they made this into a 5-color cycle for each of the core 'walkers. Pyromancer's Gauntlet, then Beastmage's Helm, Necromancer's Amulet, Illusionist's Sash, Pridemate's Shield... something kinda like that.
Also, this is pretty brilliant with Flames of the Firebrand, if you split the damage three ways.
