Glad to see removal that the non-black players will ignore in draft.

The flavour text really tells a mini story with style. Just 27 words and I already feel sorry for poor Farbid. Very black as well, and strong harmony to the rules text.

As can be seen in the picture, this card does not fry creatures like red, entrap them like white, or fight them; this card is black to the bone. Every turn when you play a land, the creature gets dragged closer to it's doom. After playing this card, land drops are accompanied by a cruel merciless smile, I love it.

Probably my favourite black common in the set. -3/-3 for 3? Sure!

The problem here is that mono-colored decks are rare/difficult to construct in draft. This will be doing -1/-1 or -2/-2 on most turn threes.

But at least its effect grows as time goes on. Also, that is an absolutely amazing flavour text!

There's almost enough in limited to make mono black work. This and corrupt, along with nightmare or liliana of the dark realms being your rare to push you in that direction. Just wish we got a better shade than Nightwing shade

I've only seen this played one time where it didn't actually kill the creature. And it got disenchanted before a land drop. My advice, only cast it if it kills, don't be Dr. Evil. Just shoot the bastard.
