That child looks a wee bit too big to be called a "baby", but I guess your point still stands.

Please keep babies off of the battlefield. Thank you.

It's a decent limited trick but unplayable everywhere else. Reminds you on how good giant growth is, what with giving more power and costing just half as much mana.

I don't see why this is rated so low. It could save any creature from most playable burn spells, and it gives an extra 2 power to an attacking creature. I'm not saying this is the best card ever, but it still deserves better than 2 stars.

This actually isn't that bad of a combat trick. Two 1/1s can both survive against and kill an attacking 4/4 with this (When blockers are declared, the attacking player numbers each blocker. When combat damage is assigned, the attacking creature must assign enough lethal damage to blocker #1 before moving onto assigning damage to blocker #2. Before any damage gets to be assigned, pump up the first blocker beyond kill range to seal the advantage in that combat.). Compares favorably to Giant Growth in combat, which sacrifices one of your chumps in the process.
A solid 2.5 or 3 out of 5.
