3/2 with evasion for four mana is great in limited. Outside of it not so much.

The reason this isn't as good as bladetusk boar is because as a color, red doesn't have as many playable common creatures and rightfully so because it gets much better common non-creature spells, while black's common power is more evenly split between creatures and spells. So you're more likely to see an opposing black creature on the other side of the board than you are an opposing red creature.

Good man in limited. Well costed, has evasion, hits hard, and is impervious to Doom Blade. Too bad Shock is around. Can't decide if this or Deathgaze ***atrice is better.

I'd say intimidate is more evasive that flying and 4 cmc for 3 power evasion is very solid. 3.2/5.

This is ok actually. I may try it in spirit tribal. An extra 3 damage may be well worth it before playing a finisher (devouring greed)

Colorshifted Bladetusk Boar. Not so good.

Until I zoomed into this art, I though the tree was part of its body and it looked cool. Oh well. What else is there to say?

Won me many games at the prerelease. With the removal being so weak, plopping auras and equipment on your evasive dudes is awesome.
