Now who thought that Gravedigger and Auramancer would get along that well?

Beefier Desecrator Hag, with enchantments to boot! I also love the fact that she's a gorgon priestess with non-gorgon abilities (no deathtouch). Makes her pretty unique.

Pharika is most definitely a god, Lord of Tresserhorn. One of the ten dual colored gods coming up in the next couple of sets, joining Kruphix of Prophet of Kruphix, the time god.
The first non-gorgony Gorgon since Masked Gorgon who was masked. Admittedly, it appears this gal is as well, so it makes sense. Just so strange to see.

Because Pharika is going to be the gorgon god in either Born of the Gods or Journey into Nyx. I even preemptively tagged it for future generations.

Why not just Pharika the Mender, Legendary, maybe make her 4/4? :(

At five cmc you'll most likely have a suitable target without intentionally putting goodies in the graveyard. Gods can be selected for two reasons.

This is a nice card for a Golgari-style deck. You can return any creature in the graveyard, or even Deadbridge Chant (which you can put down the very next turn). And then if you end up milling it into your graveyard, at least it still gives the bonus to things like Nighthowler or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. Also, if you sacrifice it to Rescue from the Underworld you can return all kinds of stuff.

Great for attrition.

Dumbest use for her: flash her out with Winding Canyons to keep a Bridge from Below from being exiled.

I am considering using this card as a pauper commander for a pestilence themed deck. This would give me access to ramp and the ability to keep bringing my pestilence, gangrenous zombies, and plague rats back.
Then again, I could just use Plague Rats as my commander
To clarify, a Pauper commander deck can use any uncommon creature as it's commander.
