It's not great by ANY mean but it's effectively a {1}{B} cycle with a small benefit that triggers Heroic. I'll probably run some just to slap onto an Agent of the Fates.

Strictly way less +X/+0 than the art would indicate.

@Flavour text: Sounds more like it symbolises "LOOK AT ALL MY MONEY!!!".

No, actually. Just the opposite. In Theros the underworld is rich in gold ore. So rich in fact that it is worthless to the dead and those who are close to them. That is why Erobos is the god of wealth. He alone sees the worthlessness of it and it is incredibly depressing to him. To him it represents the greed and blindness of mortals. In the world of the living gold is much more rare so it becomes valuable. Thus gold is a symbol of the underworld. This is the reason that the Returned have gold face masks and why golden tatoos are a symbol of death and a mark of separation from the living (hey, you think gold is so great? Well guess what: we are both poor in things of real value, despite these gold tattoo.)

Of the cycle of cantripping heroic-triggering auras, this one and the white one, Chosen By Heliod, are probably the weakest. I never have any doubts when I pick Dragon Mantle because I know that it will get plenty of use. And Fate Foretold is a nice, versatile aura that nets you two cards. Even green's Nylea's Presence, if not good in the current set, may find itself a home in domain decks. But I cringe when drafting or playing this and the white one. Heroic isn't prevalent enough, and a measly +1/+0 isn't powerful enough, to warrant spending two mana on this.

Not terrible, with the cantrip, but it's pretty underwhelming on its own. You'd need something that benefits from your control of enchantments, or perhaps... I dunno... being the target of spells, to really take full effect. If your deck is lacking in ways to get some extra value from this card, stay away from it.
It may have been better, cost at {B}{B}, just to ramp up your devotion to Black.
Also, that is some of the worst art I've seen on a card in a very long time.

Wouldn't have hurt to make this an Unholy Strength cantrip instead.
Oh well...I guess it's still fair enough for triggering heroic in limited.

I think this can work fairly in a devotion/aggro deck. It gives you a little of everything, a little devotion, a little power boost, and a little card advantage, something you need if you want to keep the pressure on. But it's also esoteric and underpowered in that regard, so I'd rate it a 3
