A lot narrower than some of the other self-hate cycle cards...
But great artwork. Will look swell as a foil. That sunset!

Easily the worst of the self-hate cycle.
Regarding flavor they did a good job, that's why they restricted the use to one of your green creatures.
But they forgot just how much more conditional that makes this card compared to the other colors.
They just flat out exile, counter, or destroy the stuff.
Both you and an opponent need a green creature for this to work, otherwise it will fizzle right away.
And even then, the buff might not be enough to kill the creature, or at least make yours survive.
It should at least have given +3/+3 to make sure it works in your favor if the conditions are met.
Or it could have been an instant.
In both cases, it would have made it more viable to profit from the effect in, before or after combat.
(It does give you such an advantage as it is, but combat damage and fighting will probabl... (see all)

I got SO excited reading this at first, then I saw those dreaded words "green creature an opponent controls". So close to being good...

I HATE this card. I had it in my hand every game at my drafts. It was cast once.

I see this being a great sideboard card for green aggro decks in modern. It can allow your creatures to remove opposing Tarmogoyfs or Scavenging Oozes while swinging in for additional damage the same turn.
