I love how they put both this and Cruel Ultimatum in the Jeleva deck.

Not one of the most powerful cards, especially due to its high cost, but definitely one of the most fun for casual play because nothing is more fun than 13 zombies smacking your opponent in the face. 4/5 stars.

it's a nice fun Bomb Spell effect ^__^ one might say this is the "Comet Storm" slot-
Compare 2011 to 2013: the popular low-value Mythic that's in the popular Red-Black Deck this time around. :)

Outside of the precon Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge Commander deck, this is rather high-costed and unusable.
But in that deck... Powerful.
Yesterday I tested the precon Jeleva deck against my Talrand, Sky Summoner and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord decks. Jeleva got out turn 3, and exiled this. The next turn, she attacked, casting this for 13 zombies. Immediately following, Talrand cast a Clone, cloning Jeleva, exiling Infest off the top of Jeleva's deck. Talrand went down to 13 life from the zombies, but the zombies died the next turn.
Goes to show how crazy Commander can be.

Clone will not trigger the on-cast ability that a creature like Jeleva has. Think about it: A clone is just a creature on the stack before it actually resolves and copies something.

Read Jeleva again, she triggers on ETB so the Clone would exile the top 4 also.
This card makes me want to put my Defender Ramp deck together again. axebane guardian makes the black doable and Overgrown Battlement makes just as much green!

In what world is 8 Mana too expensive for Commander? Ever heard about Nicol Bolas? Decree of Pain? Hellkite Overlord? Akroma? Insurrection?
Hell, I still use Dread Cacodemon in my control decks and it's friggin amazing. Also some people are still using Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur outside of reanimator decks...
Last but not least, FLASHBACK. I can't think of many more useful abilities in general, especially EDH.
