My favorite of the monocolor man lands. Pretty aggressive for blue...

@Darthparallax Put 4 of these in a fairie deck, you will not be disappointed.

Power creep is only as real as you're willing to believe in/willing to make a card work.

I feel like this cycle of man-lands was still playable in Tenth Edition, but by Lorwyn Block they were a good deal weaker because both creatures and lands were getting stronger, so they weren't cutting the mustard in Extended (still passed Standard), but by Shards of Alara they were really pretty much finished because Alara was so close to Ravnica and I find Gold blocks tend to amp up Power Creep, affecting even mono-colored cards in sets surrounding them..

Still, 'the Blue one is the Best' tends to be true about Land Cycles. :)

Flying actually makes it feel allllmost worth it, as a late-pick card for any kind of deck building, today xP

I want to enchant it with Wind Zendikon to have semi-totem armor. Genju of the Realms to be weird.

It taps for colored mana, is cheap to activate, and has evasion. Like other man lands, it dodges sorcery removal. Add in a decently supported (With a few stupidly powerful exceptions) tribal and you have a great pick. To this day one of the better man-lands around.
