@MerlinFalcon:
5. 3 damage is done to Guard Gomazoa and 5 tramples over. The 3 done to Guard Gomazoa is then prevented, leaving only the 5 done to the player.

One of my favorite Defenders, I try to put it into every Blue deck I run. It's got flying, so it can block nearly everyone, and 0/3 for 3 isn't bad.
It's just a shame it can't take more damage- wait, what? It can take all damage? 4.5/5 for being a Jellyfish in addition.

Jellyfish tribal? I'm sure Blasto will approve of this.

@merl
0. The damage is prevented, so no damage is dealt, so lifelink sends 0 life back to the player.
I did like the gomazoas, they're so weird that they make the game feel magicy.

My all-time favourite defender returns! Nothing like being stumped by a jella fish!

"prevent all combat damage dealt to guard gomazoa by creatures other than spongebob".
is really begs for a lightning bolt.

in the form of a question. if Gomazoa blocks an 8/8 creature with lifelink and trample, how much life is obtained?
