Ah yes, the Grixis zombie.

This guy is probably the most effective of the Familiar cycle for one reason: Zombie.

That is basically one of the best creature types you could ever have. In EDH, he's still amazing. He even regenerates! Board wipes be damned!

Really versatile card in EDH as well, as the blue/red part isn't part of its colour identity (meaning I can now use him in my black/blue zombie-tribal mill EDH!). But why you'd run him outside of a black/blue/red deck, where he's crazy, is insane though.

Turn one: 1 Swamp Carnophage

Turn 2: 2 Swamps, Culling the Weak or Dark Ritual and two of these bad boys in my hand. Boom

Turn 3: 2 Swamps and Island and Traumatize :D
