Although the entwine could have been cheaper, It's still a decent card in Commander that's both flexible and relevant when you can pay it for either cost.
I always loved how the artwork depicts the fattie and the weenies in a very similar manner,
which makes the card name even cooler than it already is.
Although this made me feel like each of those 1/1s should have been an Insect Beast, because toothed insects (with mandibles nonetheless) certainly aren't the zoologically documented type you'll find in the woods.

Most of them time, 5 1/1s may help more. Overrun is stronger, and other spells like Gaea's Anthem do much more.
Then there's the times when you need a little bit more muscle. Like if you have nothing stronger for Overwhelming Stampede. Or the time when you've got something like Rancor.
It's nice there are cards like this. I also love the name, "One Dozen Eyes", implying the amount of eyes when you play it fully. Heh.

If you entwine it while Doubling Season is out, it changes from One Dozen Eyes to One Dozen Guys.
