I'm not a fan of the new art, but it is interesting so I can see why a lot of people love it.

The old art is cool but I gotta say I love that Wiz puts "black" guys as blue mages all the time now.

nah, this card is fine.
your idea for a poster, and this art, and the original art, they all show different kinds of Propaganda-- but this one shows it the most 'magical' the least 'mundane'.
Put simply-- "Propaganda" is the "Dun Moch" of Magic. Dun Moch is the Force Ability of .....talking.
This is the Magic Spell of .....talking.
This at least represents a kind of arcane take on the concept, reminds one of Hive Mind. It shows the EFFECT of the Propaganda instead of the ACTION of it, which was the original art's failing.
Yes, we are often tempted to think we know better than Wizards. In at least 5 cases out of 9, we are actually right. But Ferlord, In this case I think I see exactly what they're doing and I must say they have it right, not you.

Exceptionally happy for the reprint, but it still begs the question: Why hasn't the art featured something simple like a poster in the streets?
What I imagine the art of a card called "Propaganda" would be a wall with an image of someone, and they are depicted poorly on a poster. Maybe it'll include a goblin or something? Then on the other side of the wall, you see a bunch of people beating up that person/species. My thought is like Tormented Pariah's art, except the bullying is more in the background.
But Wizards knows better, so I'll trust them with things like this.

I can't imagine how traumatizing it must be to own a print of this art.
