Lets not forget planar cleansing is standard. I want to make a standard deck that looks like
4 Supreme verdict
4 Planar cleansing
4 Fated retribution
4 Archaeomancer
4 Mnemonic wall
Can blue white stall long enough to get to six and seven manna? We'll just have to see. 20 boardwipes sounds fun though.

This is a somewhat interesting flavor-contrast to the new Revoke Existence...

Rout's the only other Wrath that's instant speed. It's also 7-cost. It doesn't destroy Planeswalkers.
It stops regenerate, though. I guess that's where the extra star rating comes from.

I like it. Gives annoying decks like GR Monsters with all their creatures and Planeswalkers the finger.

Great EDH Card, instant speed makes it useful in T2 as well!

I'd take this card and six lands in my opening hand.

There's been a lot of planeswalker hate recently, I've noticed.

Seven mana is just too much. Still, if you really hate WU, you now have an option outside of Supreme Verdict. A pretty poor one, but an option.

As far as mass removal goes, this one is average. It's just a tad too expensive to be actually good.

Compare to Rout. Scry 2 is usually not going to be worth the extra mana when casting on your turn, but this might see a little play in Standard as Supreme Verdicts 5-? Maybe.
