Not mythic? Not very appealing of a card either. Costly and slow are how I would describe this card, but who knows, could be better than it looks.

Lyzolda isn't disappointed. There's some nice theme and flavor to how much it triggers Grave Pact too.

This is nightmare fuel for opponents in a jarad and/or dredge EDH deck.

I'm with everyone else: He shoulda been legendary! I'da been proud to have him as a commander.
I'm okay with people thinking he's terrible, it'll make him cheap.
Three tribes that I really wanted to get a boost since they are severely lacking: Minotaurs (Getting fixed!), griffins, and skeletons. So...he makes me happy!

I don't care if it's slow and costly. I will play it (as will many others) for the simple words "Return X creatures to the battlefield". And if you've got a Blood Artist or another on-death-trigger card on the field it's even more delicious.
Every Golgari EDH deck will be wanting to run this.
