So this is kind of like the Pauper version of Magma Jet. Which isn't to say that it's exactly a good card--as it isn't. I'm having trouble figuring out what deck outside of Limited would really want a slow, overcosted burn spell that only scrys for 1. Now, costing this at RR would have been beautiful and probably would have seen play. But as I've been told over and over again, not all cards can be costed effectively.

I got to enjoy a trading four cards for my Nessian Wilds Ravager during round one of the prerelease. Deathbellow Raider, Ordeal of Purphoros, Rise to the Challenge and this.
Entirely because my opponent thought that when expected to play a lightning strike for one more in exchange for scry 1, it would still be an instant.
... For insult to injury? You're going to take these in draft, because you go through Born of the Gods BEFORE Theros only to replace them with Lightning Strike in the next pack.
