Now here's a nice creature. Haste makes for a great tribute effect, either way you get a lot of pain. Here's a good tip for facing down guys like him; if you only need a few more turns to win, pay the tribute.

It is nice to see a big ol' 5/5 for six in red, especially with Trample.

Very solid Limited card. One of the few Tribute creatures where both versions are roughly equal (of course, your opponent will still choose the least advantageous one for you, but still).

This is a bruiser but I feel like this is an art/mechanic fail. Lightning hands = haste...?

The best tribute card (at least so far) in my opinion. For 6CMC you get either a 5/5 with haste and trample or an 8/8 with trample, neither of which are appealing to face.

A 5/5 Hasted Trampler or an 8/8 Trampler. It would seem tribute has potential.

A red creature that is all upside, with no puny toughness? Sign me up.
This is a great example of a tribute creature that is perfectly fine on both ends. Red does not get a lot of fairly costed creatures, especially with trample. An 8/8 for 6 CMC is also nothing to scoff at, but a 5/5 hasty trampler is nothing to scoff at as well for that price. And a quick Gatherer search will reveal that there are very few such creatures, and even fewer that can sustain a few damage and live to tell the tale. All in all, a fine card.
